Finally!

Haven't posted for a long
long
time

Well, dear readers, I have around 5 ideas swimming about in my head right now...
I just need to find the time to write them all down!
Though not all will be published here, for various reasons.

Anyway, a poem just to start things going again.

Thank You Lord for golden days
For sparkling sun and sunny rays
For babies laughing, mirth and birth
For sun-drenched fruits of rich dark earth
For kisses and for tight-clasped hands 
For group hugs and for happy friends
For satisfaction and yummy food
For warmth and love and everything good

But Thank You Lord for sleepless nights
For days when everything's not alright
For the cries of children who need aid
For the many debts that need to be paid
For conflicts, fights, and cold deep fears
For silent sobs and crystal tears
For the world that sometimes seems to be mad
For the hundreds of things that seem so bad

For we love it best when blessings flow
But it's through the trials that You help us grow.
